Browser history
Recent briefs are stored locally in the user's browser and are not currently synchronized through a DefectGrid account.
Live AI processing
When live generation is configured, inputs may be sent to the configured model provider to create structured output.
Local fallback
When live generation is unavailable, the built-in local engine can produce a brief without sending the input to a model provider.
Important limit
Use discretion with sensitive manufacturing data.
- The current version does not provide accounts or shared workspaces.
- Do not enter confidential drawings, formulas, customer data, or regulated records unless your deployment and model-provider terms permit it.
- Enterprise retention controls and workspace isolation are planned, not currently available.
